I combine performance art, short-line poetry, sculpture, folkloric fashion retrofits, experimental sounds, personal rituals, video media, and analog photography in my art practice. These mediums work together to form their own unique expression.

I use analog photography as a way to contextualize traits, facts, and anecdotes after the fact. I prefer describing a picture with words, allowing me to recall truths of events or even create new ones for the sake of being present in the moment.

Currently, I am still grieving the loss of my mother, aunt, cousin, and grandmother who passed away in recent years. I am trying to slow down time and figure out how to tell my story in a way that makes sense. While my story is unique to me, I believe everything is definitive yet analogous.
